Passport Requirement Pushed Back to 2009

The passport requirement for travelers returning from Mexico by auto has once again been pushed back. Now the effective date is not until June of 2009.

Thanks for the information about passports. We are planning a trip down to mexico soon and it will be good to have the most update information that we can find.

It is good that the passport requirement got pushed back to as early as June of 2009 so everyone has time to get theirs. Just remember, you do need two forms of ID, such as a drivers license and birth certificate in order to cross back into the US now. Happy traveling!
