best way to San Felipe

We are going to San Felipe in 2 weeks, from Mission Viejo, and are thinking of going to Ensenada, then cutting across to San Felipe.

We've been to San Felipe through Mexicali, and it's a long drive to do it non-stop. So we're thinking of driving to Calexico or Ensenada the first night, then continue en la manana.

which way would be less driving? :eek: :confused:

you can go to san Felipi from Ensenada, Mexico on highway 3, but i prefer highway 5 on it... if you are taking boat its about 150 miles ............
