Carne Asada with a twist!

What you will need:
Flank steak or your choice of steak cut
A bunch of cilantro
6-8 garlic cloves pressed
The juice of 6 key limes *if you like more tang…throw in a few more.
¾ cup (e.v.o.o) extra virgin olive oil
Fresh cracked pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Large ziplock bag


finely chop cilantro
press garlic cloves
juice your key limes
in large ziplock bag throw cilantro,garlic,lime juice,(evoo) extra virgin olive oil make sure everything is nice and mixed….
pepper and salt meat and then put in the ziplock and seal.
refridgerate for about 45 minutes. *remember the longer you allow the meat to marinate the more of a robust of a flavor you’ll get!
when ur ready just throw it on the grill…
Recommended ways of serving:

*When serving meat…cut against the grain.
Corn tortillas
Spanish rice
Beans
Guacamole
Your favorite salsa….:D

Well you dont need a smasher all the time but it does help to make your meat tender. Alot of the time you can find meat at the store that says "carne asada" or " Carne Para asar" its actually really easy and everyone puts different spices on it. I even bye the thin strips of meat thats already cut that works good too. You can put garlic and pappys or just salt pepper and garlic.
