Hi

I'm Roberta Giesea. I live in Rosarito full time & write articles for the Baja Times. I've also written a book entitled, Baja4You that answers questions about living in Baja. I'm currently working on a book entitled, Real Estate, The Mexican Way. I have my own real estate company in Rosarito called, Baja4uProperties.

I can answer questions you may have about Mexican real estate or just general living in Northern Baja.

It's a great place to live!

It is my first time hearing about this particular place in Mexico and I'm quite interested with it. How are the present living conditions in Baja different from the rest of Mexico?

It is different because it is close to the US border, just south of Tijuana on the Baja California Peninsula. It is a little resort town that is located on
the Pacific Coastline just south of San Diego.
1) We have San Diego weather--the best in the world! Doesn't get over 85 degrees even in the summer.
2) We can cross over into the States with a Sentri Pass which is an FBI approved fast pass anytime we want to use the San Diego airport, shop or enjoy the San Diego entertainment world such as theater, symphony etc.
3) Cost of living is a lot lower than in the states. Restaurants, property taxes, services allow money to stretch.

We don't have the Swine Flu here, we do have some cartel troubles but if you don't use or sell drugs you have nothing to worry about. It is a tourist town with a huge Amer population with lots of activities available.

I hope this answers your questions.
