In Baja I am gathered for new year, advise, what region to select for the search for hotels. If it is not complicated, then if you please, argue, why you give preference to this regionif anyone can send me info at HoboKelly2007@wikichat.com I'd really appreciate.

This is for them who want to visit san felipe:
Things to do in san felipe:
You can enjoy the long beach walk, with quiet and warm sea on one side and the hot sand on the other, it has very relaxed atmosphere. Sea of Cortez is the best place for fishing it has somewhere around 800 varieties.
there is an area called "Valley of the Giants" or "El Valle de los Gigantes". It got it's name from the huge Cardon cacti growing there.
hope you guys explore to your best when you visit san felipe.
best of luck.

There are like plenty of good hotels you can walk in. I also don't know much about Baja as I have never visited it and really can't suggest any.

Friends of mine are getting married in the Yucatan area at the end of December. Anther friend and myself are planning on driving down from US/Mexican border along the Gulf of Mexico. Anyone have any tips, comments, etc? He is fluent Spanish and we have driven through Guatemala and Hondorus so we're not too concerned about the drive and places to stay en route as we don't need anything fancy. Any places you recommend stopping to see on the way down?
