This is a typical mexican dessert, I hope you enjoy it. It is sweet and delicate, like most mexican desserts:p .
Rice and milk (arroz con leche)
Ingredients:
1 lt of milk
100 gms of white rice
1 cinnammon stick
Sugar to taste
1 Small can condensed milk
2 tablespoons vanilla
Instructions:
Place a large cooking pot on high heat, then add the milk and the cinnammon and when it starts to boil add the rice and the sugar, lower the heat, stir a little and let it cook for a little while. Once made let cool then add the condensed milk and the vanilla, place on individual recipients and put in the freezer, before you serve you can add a bit of powdered cinnammon on top to add a little color.
Buen Provecho!
Tips: Boy do I have a lot of tips for this one
You can add the juice of a lemon to give it an extra distinctive flavour
You can add chopped nuts and raisins.
And to make the taste more delicate you can replace the vanilla extract with vanilla vines and also decorate it with them.
You can find more mexican desserts at my website:

I hope you enjoy them and find them useful, as I have said before, comments and posts are always welcome. :D

I just love white rice with anything. I am sure white rice will fit perfectly in the dessert when i will try it. Is there anything we can add by ourself in this dessert which might make its taste even better?

I found a good mexican dessert online. Here is the recipe:
Buñuelos
Recipe Ingredients:
3 cups flour, sifted twice
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup milkl
1/2 cup butter
oil for frying
Recipe Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt.In a small bowl, beat one tbsp sugar, eggs and butter. Stir in milk. Add milk mixture to flour. If dough is too dry, add a few more drops of milk. Knead dough until it is very smooth. Shape into 20 balls. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes.Heat oil one-inch deep in large skillet to 360 F.Roll each ball out on a lightly-floured board into very thin six-inch circle. Fry buñuelos until golden brown, turning once. Drain on absorbent towels. Sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon topping while warm, or drizzle with one of the following syrups. These can be frozen. Wrap separately in freezer bags. Defrost and place in a 350 F. oven for a few minutes to crips.(20 fritter)

Dulce De Leche Ice Cream
2 cans (14 oz. each) sweetened, condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
3 cups whole milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Pour sweetened, condensed milk into the top of a double boiler. Cook over simmering water for 1 ½ to 2 hours, stirring every five minutes, until a golden caramel color. Chill half of mixture. Cool the other half to room temperature.
Heat 2 cups of the whole milk almost to a simmer in a medium saucepan. Whisk eggs in a bowl. Slowly pour about one half cup hot milk into eggs, whisking rapidly to prevent eggs from cooking. Whisk eggs into remaining milk in saucepan. Stir constantly over medium-low heat until custard thickens. It should heavily coat a spoon. Do not allow custard to boil.
Remove from heat and stir in the room-temperature caramel, the remaining 1 cup milk and the vanilla. Refrigerate until very cold.
Pour ice cream base into an ice-cream maker and process according to manufacturer's instructions. When ice cream is thick and almost done, dollop in chilled caramel into mixture, allowing it to drip in ribbons from a spoon. Continue processing until done. Freeze.
Makes about 1 quart.
