Taxes in mexico depends on the property which is being sold. the seller will pay no taxes if it is his permanent residence, if it is income property the tax to the seller is 26 percent of the sales price or appraisal price which ever is highest

Buyers pay a tax of 4.3 % on the sales price, The sales price is under evaluated to the actual sales price to avoid tax, and the difference amount is not calculated in the sales tax. nothing much is need for the tilte transfer, the signatures of the buyer and the seller hahhaa and the appraisal survey letter, previous original registration copy.

I agree with Cabochic but maybe have a look at Ventanas too. This is so subjective recommending one good hotel over another as your lifestyle and tolerance levels are very much your own.
